We are honored to be a business in Humboldt County because this area has a reputation for being a community of caring citizens who reach out to their neighbors. It is our belief that we, The Jitter Bean Coffee Company, have been given the opportunity to be a blessing to this community by “giving back” and investing in many ways, including with our financial resources. It is because of this belief that we developed our “Super Hero” Program in 2005.

Throughout the year we highlight one of the many organizations that we consider to be a “Super Hero” in our community; or, on rare occasions, a needy local individual who has impacted our business directly (such as a family member of an employee). On those designated “Super Hero Days,” we donate a portion of our company sales to that particular individual or charitable organization.

It is our hope through this endeavor that we can heighten the awareness of these amazing organizations or individuals that contribute to the welfare of our area, as well as to make a significant contribution to their cause. It is sincerely our joy and privilege to honor these local “Super Heroes.”
