The Jitter Bean Coffee Company is honored to be a part of Humboldt County. Humboldt County has a reputation for being a community of caring citizens who reach out to their neighbor in various ways. It is our belief that we, The Jitter Bean Coffee Company, have been given the opportunity to be a blessing to this community by “giving back” and investing in many ways, including with our financial resources. It is because of this belief that we have developed our “Superhero” Program.

Throughout the year we designate one of our business locations to highlight one of the many organizations that we consider to be a "Superhero" in our community or on rare occassions, a needy local individual who has impacted our business directly (such as an employee's family member). On the day selected, we designate a portion of our sales from one of our locations to that particular individual or charitable organization. In addition, our employees often choose to donate their tips, and customers make additional contributions to this need.

In this endeavor, it is our hope that we can heighten the awareness of these individual needs and/or amazing organizations that contribute to the welfare of our area, as well as make a significant financial contribution to their cause. It is sincerely our joy and privilege to honor these local “Superheroes.”
